Emergency Lighting

Emergency Lighting is one of the key elements in providing part of a safe working environment so that effective evacuation can be carried out during power failure.

The requirements for Emergency Lighting should be considered as part of the assessment of the Means of Escape in case of fire and should be an inherent part of any Fire Risk Assessment. The UK’s leading authority, ICEL (Industry Committee for Emergency Lighting) comments:

“If artificial lighting is installed in the workplace, some form of Emergency Lighting is a mandatory requirement”

From the replacement of a standard bulkhead fitting to the project design & installation of quality fittings using Infra-Red Testing facilities, we can undertake this and routine maintenance for many of our clients.
